JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 17-06-2020 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State via video conferencing. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Akorhi Gola P.S. Case No. 63 of 2019 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 304B and 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the serious nature of allegation made against the petitioner, who is husband of the deceased to have subjected his wife to cruelty for nonfulfillment of dowry and his wife died otherwise than in normal circumstances within three years of marriage, I am not inclined to grant bail. The application is rejected.
