JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 17-05-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1.a) To quash the letter No. Arms/IX-062023/8229 Ara dated 14.10.2023 issued by respondent no.-2 to respondent no.-3 for initiation of cancellation of Arms License obtained on wrong residence basis.

b) To direct the respondent no.-2 the District Magistrate, Bhojpur, Ara to register Arms License No. LN25454A3FD20/6902 NH/DMR in the Arms register of Bhojpur district as the other similar person has been registered in the District Arms Register.

c) To direct the respondent no.-3 to not

Patna High Court CWJC No.18278 of 2023(2) dt.17-05-2024 2/2 disturb the petitioner to hold N.P. Bore rifle issued under Arms License No.

LN25454A7A3FD20/6902 NH/DMR.

d) To direct the respondents to not take coercive action against the petitioner."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the District Magistrate, Bhojpur for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

It is needless to state that in case appropriate representation is filed, within a period of two weeks from today, the District Magistrate, Bhojpur shall dispose off the same by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks, thereafter. 4.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
