The petitioner seeks bail in Khagaria P.S. Case No.650 of 2019, registered under Sections 323, 353, 307 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

The informant, a police official, alleged that the petitioner and Md. Azad were carrying cough syrup on a motorcycle and when the petitioner and his accomplish were asked to stop, they pushed the police officials and tried to flee away.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was the pillion rider and he had no knowledge about keeping of cough syrup by the driver of the motorcycle. The petitioner is in jail since 21.08.2019. The petitioner has already

Considering the facts aforesaid, petitioner, above named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, Excise Act, Khagaria in connection with Khagaria P.S. Case No.650 of 2019.
