The Municipal Corporation has filed its response indicating the steps taken for collection and disposal of e-waste under the E-waste (Management) Amendment Rules, 2018.

As such, we close the present

Patna High Court CWJC No.7418 of 2018 dt.23-11-2020 2/3 proceedings reserving liberty to any public spirited person to raise the issue before the appropriate authorities or approach this Court, in accordance with law.

Equally, liberty is reserved to the petitioner to take recourse to such alternative remedies as are otherwise available in accordance with law.

We are hopeful that as and any one takes recourse to such remedies, as are otherwise available in law, before the appropriate forum, the same shall be dealt with, in accordance with law and with reasonable dispatch.

Needless to add, while considering such representation, principles of natural justice shall be followed and due opportunity of hearing afforded to the parties.

We have not expressed any opinion on merits.

The petition stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
