JUSTICE RAJIV ROY ORAL ORDER 30-01-2026 Heard Mr.Rajiv Kumar Singh, learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner, the State as also the Mining Department beside the Bihar State Mining Corporation Limited.

2. The present petition has been preferred for the following relief/s:

(i) for initiation of appropriate proceedings

Patna High Court MJC No.3517 of 2023(4) dt.30-01-2026 2/2 against the Opposite Parties Nos. 1 to 5 and punish them for having committed contempt of this Hon'ble Court by deliberately and wilfully not complying with the directions contained in the Judgment dated 20.07.2023 passed in C.W.J.C. No. 4476 of 2023 by this Court.

3. At the outset, learned Senior Counsel submits that an order has been passed vide memo no. 568 dated 10.09.2025 by the Chief Executive Officer of the said Bihar State Mining Corporation Limited, Patna (Annexure-A to the supplementary show cause and in that background, the contempt petition can be dropped giving liberty to the petitioner to take appropriate steps in the matter.
