2. The matter relates to selection of Anganwari Sevika for Anganwari Centre for Ward no. 6 of Piraridih Gram Panchayat. It is the petitioner's case that an Aam Sabha was scheduled to be held on 30.07.2019 but for the reasons unknown, the meeting was cancelled and no meeting has subsequently been held. The petitioner is an applicant for the post of Anganwari Sevika. She is seeking a direction to the respondents to ensure that a meeting is convened in accordance with Clause 7 of the guidelines dated 27.05.2019 governing

Patna High Court CWJC No.24824 of 2019(2) dt.18-01-2020 2/2 selection of Anganwari Sevika. Clause 7 stipulates that the Aam Sabha shall be convened for the purpose of selection within fifteen days from the last date of submission of application and if for any reason, the selection is not done on the said date, in the next week on the same day, which is a working day, a meeting shall be convened.

Considering the facts & circumstances of the present case, this application is disposed of with a direction that let the District Programme Officer, Saran at Chapra ensure that the process of selection of Anganwari Sevika for the centre in question is concluded within a period of two months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

4. This disposes of the application.
