2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case, registered for offence punishable under Section 306 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

3. Allegation against petitioner is that he made telephonic calls to the deceased Naina Kumari and demanded Rs. 2 lakhs & one bullet bike, as dowry, from Naina Kumari and the said conversation was heard by brother of deceased and after the said call, the deceased committed suicide by hanging herself. Accordingly, F.I.R. has been lodged against petitioner that due to his telephonic call to the deceased Naina Kumari, she was abated to commit suicide.
