The petitioners seek bail in connection with Special Case No. 9225 of 2019, arising out of Khagaul P.S. Case No. 269 of 2019 dated 18.10.2019 instituted for the offence under Sections 30(a) and 37(b) 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018.

Though 222 litres of liquor, in all, is said to have been recovered from the place where the raid was conducted but from the personal possession of the petitioners, only nine litres of liquor is said to have been recovered.

The petitioners are persons of clean

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.74207 of 2019(2) dt.04-12-2019 2/2 antecedents and are in custody since 18.10.2019. Considering the aforestated facts the petitioners are directed to be released on bail on their furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge-Excise, Patna in connection with Khagaul P.S.
