In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with G.R. No. 2666 of 2019, arising out of Sono P.S. Case No. 261 of 2019 registered for offence punishable under sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and sections 30(a)/41 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. It has been alleged that 201 litres of illegal liquor has been recovered.

Looking to the quantity of liquor, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner and accordingly his prayer for bail is rejected. However, if the petitioner surrenders before the court below and prays for regular bail, the court below
