2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in a case registered for the offence under Section 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, two persons ( Husband and wife) were killed by unknown criminals.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 29.07.2023. He is quite innocent and has not committed any offence.

5. Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail and has submitted that it has come during investigation that one Sunil Kumar Chaurasia was having an affair with the deceased lady and he hired supari killers on

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.83924 of 2023(2) dt.10-01-2024 2/2 payment of Rs 8 Lakhs for killing his ex-lover and her husband.

6. During investigation, materials have come to show that the petitioner is involved in the killing of the deceased. In scientific investigation also, materials have come to connect the petitioner with the crime. This is a case of double murder in which supari killers were hired for killing the deceased persons.

7. In view of the above, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

8. Considering the fact that petitioner is involved in killing of the deceased, this application is dismissed.

9. The Court below is directed to expedite the trial of the petitioners.
