2. The only prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner is to direct the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Sadar, Darbhanga to hear and dispose of the M.R. No. 1785 of 2022 which is a proceeding under Section 145 of the Code of Criminal Procedure and the same is said to be pending since 16.09.2022.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the pendency of the proceeding is causing a lot of hardship to the petitioner who is a very poor person.

4. Having regard to the kind of prayer made on behalf

Patna High Court CR. WJC No.2021 of 2023(2) dt.05-01-2024 2/2 of the petitioner, this Court directs the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Sadar, Darbhanga to proceed with the matter expeditiously and all endeavours be made to conclude the same as early as possible preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. No unnecessary adjournment shall be given and the proceeding on whatever date is fixed must be taken up by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Sadar, Darbhanga and it should not be adjourned in a routine manner in the name of his being busy in other administrative work.
