The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Obra P.S. Case No. 20 of 2019 dated 28.01.2019 instituted for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It appears that approximately 200 litres of liquor is said to have been recovered from a vehicle. The owner of the vehicle was arrested, who, in fact, has named the petitioner as the driver of the aforesaid vehicle.

The petitioner denies both the accusation against him. He is in custody since 23.10.2019 and is a person of clean antecedent.

Considering the aforestated facts the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge-VII cum Special Judge (Excise Act), Aurangabad in connection with Obra P.S. Case No. 20 of 2019.
