JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 08-05-2018 Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and counsel appearing on behalf of the State.

Petitioner is a widow of erstwhile employee of M.L.S.M college Darbhanga. The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ application is non-payment of certain dues of the husband of the petitioner The details of the arrears of salary of the late husband is indicated in para 1(i) to (iii). Which are as follows :- '(i) From November, 1986 to December, 2005 amounting to rupees 8,47,502/- (eight lakh forty seven thousand five hundred two only).

Patna High Court CWJC No.8617 of 2018 (2) dt.08-05-2018 2/2 (ii) From 01.01.2006 to 31.03.2010 amounting to Rs.7,14,780/- (Seven lakh fourteen thousand seven hundred eighty) (iii) From April, 2010 to February, 2013 amounting to Rs.15,42,327/- (fifteen lakh forty two thousand three hundred twenty seven).'

Without going into the calculation as to the arrears of salary, the writ petition is dispose of with the direction the university to verify the record and after calculating the arrears, the University may ensure payment of the unpaid dues of the late husband of the petitioner considering the hardship of the petitioner, on account of death of her husband, the University is directed to take final decision with regard to the unpaid salary within a maximum period of 60 days and ensure payment of the same within a further period of one month.

With the aforesaid direction, this writ application stand disposed of.
