2. Petitioner retired from the office of the Housing Board with effect from 31.01.2013 from Muzaffarpur Division. He submits that only Rs. 3,50,000/- was paid towards gratuity but the petitioner is entitled to Rs. 10 lakhs, hence, he claims the remaining amount of gratuity i.e. Rs. 6,50,000/- with 18% interest from the date it became due till the date of payment.
3. Considering the nature of prayer and the claim raised by the petitioner, this writ application is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to file a representation before the
Patna High Court CWJC No.8952 of 2018(2) dt.05-12-2018 2/2 respondent no. 3 i.e. the Secretary, Bihar State Housing Board, Patna, which will be disposed of by passing a speaking order within a period of three months from the date of receipt of such representation and decision be communicated to the petitioner by registered post. If any amount is found due, the same be paid to the petitioner within one month thereafter with admissible interest.
