2. The allegation against the petitioner happens to be with regard to committing rape over the victim/informant and, during course of fleeing was apprehended by the police official who arrived at the spot hearing cry of the victim.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner has placed the evidence of the victim recorded as PW-1 whereunder, though she has substantiated the case but declined to identify the petitioner to be a rapist.

4. Be that as it may, considering the materials available on the case diary, the prayer for bail is rejected.
