This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Dumariya P.S. Case No.35 of 2012 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 324, 353, 325, 326, 307, 302, 435, 120-B of the Indian Penal Code, under Section 27 of the Arms Act and under Section 3/4/5 of the Explosive Substance Act.

The Naxalites had an encounter with C.R.P.F. personnel in which one C.R.P.F. personnel was killed. The petitioner is named in the F.I.R. The petitioner has four criminal antecedents.

Considering the nature of allegation as well as the criminal antecedents of the petitioner, I am not inclined to

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.83990 of 2023(2) dt.10-01-2024 2/2 grant the petitioner privilege of regular bail. Accordingly, this regular bail application is dismissed. The Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial of all the cases pending against the petitioner and conclude the same as early as possible. (Sandeep Kumar, J) pawan/- U T
