2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with NCB Case No. 06 of 2023 / NDPS Case No. 151 of 2023 registered for the offence under Sections 18, 27A, 29, 62 of the NDPS Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, about 6 kg of Afim has been recovered from the petitioner and the other co-accused. The other co-accused has been arrested with Rs. 4,05,000/-

4. The petitioner has gone for the purchase of contraband article.

5. The petitioner is in jail since 23.3.2023.

6. Considering the fact that the petitioner was caught on the spot while he had gone to purchase the contraband article, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, this application is dismissed.

8. The Court below is directed to expedite the trial of the petitioner and conclude the same at the earliest. (Sandeep Kumar, J) Vikas/- U T
