The petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents to absorb him on the post of Literate Constable (Operator) in Bihar Police Radio as he fulfills all the criteria for the same. On the asking of the superior authorities controlling the Bihar Police Radio Organization, applications were sought

Patna High Court CWJC No.23734 of 2019 dt.29-11-2019 2/3 for from different constabularies, indicating their option for joining Bihar Police Radio (Operator). The applications had to be furnished through the concerned Superintendent of Police within a particular time frame.

The petitioner appears to have applied for the same through proper channel and such application has also been received in the office of the concerned authority. However, till date, there has not been any communication to the petitioner as to whether any decision has been taken on the application of the petitioner. The petitioner also has filed a detailed representation before the Additional Director General of Police (Headquarter) but that also has gone unattended.

Under the circumstances, this Court directs the petitioner to make a fresh representation before the Additional Director General of Police (Headquarter), Bihar, Patna (respondent no. 3) within a period of four weeks seeking information about the decision on his application for being absorbed as Literate Constable (Operator). On receipt of such representation, the concerned respondent shall
