JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 16-08-2022 Though the present writ petition has been filed for directing the respondents not to demolish the house of the petitioner standing on plot no. 5227, belonging to Bettiah Estate / Raj, however, the learned counsel for the petitioner has limited his prayer to grant of liberty to the petitioner to approach the District Magistrate, West Champaran at Bettiah for redressal of his aforesaid grievance.

Patna High Court CWJC No.9969 of 2018(3) dt.16-08-2022 2/2 Liberty, so sought, is granted.

It is needless to state that in case, appropriate petition is filed within a period of four weeks from today before the District Magistrate, West Champaran at Bettiah, appropriate orders shall be passed thereon, in accordance with law. In case, appropriate petition is filed by the petitioner within a period of four weeks from today, status quo, existing as on today, shall be maintained till the final decision is taken by the District Magistrate, West Champaran at Bettiah.

The writ petition stands disposed of on the aforesaid terms.
