2. The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Daraunda P.S. Case No. 290 of 2025 instituted under Sections 80(2) & 3(5) of the BNS and Section 3/4 of the D.P. Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, the accused persons including the petitioners committed dowry death of the daughter

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.81214 of 2025(2) dt.08-01-2026 2/3 of the informant.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners are innocent and have been falsely implicated in this case. He further submits that the petitioners are in laws of the deceased and they have no concern with the affairs of the deceased and her husband. He submits that the deceased locked herself in a room from inside and committed suicide and the petitioners have been implicated only on suspicion. He further submits that the allegation against the petitioners are general and omnibus and the husband of the deceased, namely, Pritam Manjhi is in judicial custody since 11.06.2025. He further submits that the petitioners have no criminal antecedent and they undertake to cooperate in the trial and investigation and also undertake not to temper with the evidence.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and submissions of learned counsel for the parties, in the event of arrest or surrender before the Court below within six weeks from today, the petitioners be released on bail upon furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount to each to the satisfaction of the
