2. The petitioner has prayed for regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 27, 29, 31, 51 and Wildlife Protection Act, 1972 and 33(1)a, 41 and 42 of Indian Forest Act, 1927.

3. The case of the prosecution is that from a pick up van, two persons managed to escape whereas this petitioner was apprehended. It is alleged that on that pick up van, wood of forest was loaded.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the driver and codriver of the pickup van have fled away. Petitioner was only engaged in loading the wood from the pick up van. He is not in

It is not clear from the FIR that from which place, the woods were being cut as alleged. Moreover, the petitioner is languishing in judicial custody since 05.05.2025.

5. Learned APP appearing for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer of regular bail and submitted that petitioner is having criminal antecedent of four cases.

6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail in connection with Forest P.S. Case No. 27 of 2025 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-I, Gaya with the condition that the petitioner shall not indulge in similar nature of offences in future and shall cooperate in trial and shall be physically present before the trial court whenever required.
