2. Counsel for the petitioner submits that the present writ petition has been filed for directing the District Magistrate, East Champaran to dispose off the Anganwari Appeal No.49 of 2017 within a reasonable period of three months which is pending in his Court since 25.07.2017.

3. Counsel for the State raised preliminary objection and submits that it is a specific stand taken by the State that in

Patna High Court CWJC No.10197 of 2018(2) dt.13-08-2024 2/2 paragraph 17 of the counter-affidavit that the appeal of the petitioner was admitted on 17.10.2017, L.C.R. was called for and notices were issued to the party concerned. It has also been mentioned that the matter has been proceeded in the Court and as soon as the appearance completed, then a reasoned order shall be passed shortly in accordance with law.

4. In the light of the submissions made, the present writ application is hereby disposed off, directing the District Magistrate, East Champaran, Motihari to pass a reasonable order after hearing the parties within 3 (three) months. In case, the private respondent shall not appear even after service of notice, then also, he shall pass order within 30 days from the date of service of notice, if not disposed off.

5. With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition stands disposed off.
