JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 10-01-2020 The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Excise Case No. 522/19 (Gaya), registered for offences punishable under Sections 30(a) and 56 (kha) of Bihar Excise Act.

Allegation is of recovery of 81 litres of liquor from the vehicle of the petitioner and he was arrested there. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he has no criminal antecedent and has falsely been implicated in this case and he has been in judicial custody for about five months.

Having heard both sides, in view of the above submission as well as the period of custody of the petitioner, let

Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Excise Judge, Gaya, in connection with Excise Case No. 522/19 (Gaya), subject to the condition that petitioner will cooperate in disposal of trial and make himself available as and when required by the court below, failing which, the prosecution shall move for cancellation of his bail bonds.
