The petitioner is apprehending arrest in connection with Janta Bazar P.S. Case No. 45 of 2018 for offences under Sections 260, 420, 468, 469, 471, 120(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that at the relevant time te petitioner was working as Deputy Branch Manager, Punjab National Bank, Janta Bazar Branch. As soon as the mistake was detected, necessary correction was carried out and the amount was deposited with the correct account and as such there is no embezzlement or misappropriation. With reference to Annexure-2, learned counsel submits that the informant has already admitted the deposit of Rs. 15,42,000/- in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.76633 of 2019(2) dt.27-11-2019 2/2 his account.

Considering the aforesaid, the court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Let the petitioner, above named, in the event of arrest or surrender within four weeks from today, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 50,000/- (Fifty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-I, Saran at Chapra in connection with Janta Bazar P.S. Case No. 45 of 2018 subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr. P. C.
