The petitioners seek bail in Danapur P.S. Case No.744 of 2019, registered under Sections 304(B), 120(B) and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The informant, brother of the deceased, alleged that his sister was married in the month of May, 2017 with Kundan Kumar, the son of the petitioner. She gave birth to a child who is about 11⁄2 years old. On 25.09.2019, the informant got information that his sister committed suicide by hanging herself. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners never tortured the sister of the informant. The petitioners are father-in-law and mother-in-law of the deceased.

There is no material to show that the petitioner ever tortured the sister of the informant for nonfulfillment of demand of dowry. The sister-in-law (Gotni) of the deceased has already been granted bail by order dated 27.11.2019, passed in Cr. Misc. No.73772 of 2019. The case of the petitioners stands on the same footing.

Taking into consideration the facts that the petitioners are father-in-law and mother-in-law of the deceased and similarly situated co-accused, sister-in-law (Gotni) of the deceased, has already been granted bail, petitioners, above named, are directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.C.J.M., 1st, Danapur in connection with Danapur P.S.
