JUSTICE AJIT KUMAR ORAL ORDER 12-12-2025 Counsel for the petitioner is directed to add Director, Provident Fund, Patna as Respondent No. 8. Permission is granted. This writ petition has been filed for the following relief(s):- "(i) For commanding the respondents to make payment of Rs. 65,961 arrears of General Provident Fund which was deducted from the salary of the petitioner under the head of GPF amounting during the period of December
Patna High Court CWJC No.19012 of 2024(3) dt.12-12-2025 2/3 1987 to July 1996 total Rs. 65961 which is evident from representation dated 07/01/2024 as contained in Annexure-P/5.
(ii) Also for commanding the respondents to make payment of Statutory interest over the arrears of GPF amounting Rs 65,961 for the pension between the period of December 1987 to July 1996 for which the petitioner is entitled in the eye of law.
(iii) Also for necessary relief/ reliefs, order/orders, direction/directions which the petitioner is entitled in the eye of law."
2. At this stage, counsel for the petitioner submits that the issues being similar to the case, has been disposed of in terms of disposal made by the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court whereby the Director, Provident Fund has been directed to decide the claim of the petitioner.

At this stage, counsel for the petitioner submits that similar issues have already been adjudicated and appropriate directions have been issued in CWJC No. 7184 of 2023 (Poonam Kumari vs. State of Bihar & Ors.) and further pressed that this case also may be disposed of in terms of Para 3 and 4 of the order dated 21.08.2023, which reads as under:- "3. Considering the fact that the petitioner has already representation before the Principal Secretary, Rural Development Department, Government of Bihar, Patna (respondent no.2) on 11.04.2023, the respondent no.2 is
Patna High Court CWJC No.19012 of 2024(3) dt.12-12-2025 3/3 directed to ensure that the petitioner is paid the remaining amount of retiral dues along with statutory interest within a period of six weeks from the date of passing of this order.
4. The District Provident Officer, Patna is directed to collect all the deductions statements from the places of posting of the petitioner at his own end or by deputing an authorised Officer, who will ensure to obtain all the deduction statements from the places of posting of the petitioner within the aforesaid period of six weeks and ensure payment within the said period."
4. In view of the observations made in the aforesaid writ petition, this matter is also directed to be adjudicated by the authorities concerned in similar terms within the period so specified from the date of production of copy of the order.
5. Accordingly, the instant writ petition stands disposed of.
