In this case, the petitioner is seeking bail in connection with Special Case No. 92 of 2019, Ram Krishna Nagar P.S. Case No. 546 of 2019 registered for offences under sections 20/22/24 of the N.D.P.S. Act.

As per prosecution story, on receipt of information of illegal trade of narcotics, the police party raided the rented house of the present petitioner, on search, altogether 6 Kg 400 grams Ganja, kept in a plastic bag, were recovered. It has been stated that the petitioner used to do the illegal trade with the help of one Dipak Kumar who used to supply Ganja to the present petitioner and the petitioner used to sell the same in the Kankarbagh area.

The petitioner is in custody since 01.08.2019.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner, above named, is rejected with a liberty to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail after completion of one year of his judicial custody.
