Patna High Court CWJC No.11444 of 2018 dt.20-12-2018 2/2 Counsel for the petitioners submits that their claim for upgraded scale is pending before the Principal Secretary, Human Resources Development Department, Government of Bihar, Patna, respondent no. 2. He submits that claim of the petitioners is to be examined in light of Annexures 6 and 7 to the writ petition which are letter dated 4.10.2012 issued by the Joint Secretary in the Department of Education and letter dated 22.01.2015 bearing memo no. 48 issued by the Special Director, Secondary Education.
Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the submission advanced by the counsel for the petitioners and in view of the limited grievance, no useful purpose would be served by keeping the instant proceeding pending. Writ petition is therefore, disposed off with a direction to the respondent no. 2 to take a final decision in accordance with law and in respect of the petitioners' claim within a period of 3 months from date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
