2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Nadi P.S. Case No. 08 of 2024, instituted for the offences punishable under Sections 304(B), 201, 120(B) and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The prosecution case, in short, is that the accusation against the accused persons including the petitioner is of causing mental torture and ultimately committing murder of the informant's sister due to non-fulfillment of the dowry demand.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. Charge-sheet has been submitted in this case and

Learned counsel for the petitioner also submitted that there is delay of two days in lodging the FIR. The petitioner is husband of the deceased. It is next submitted that no specific allegation has been attributed against the petitioner rather the same is general and omnibus in nature. The petitioner is in custody since 26.04.2024 and has got no criminal antecedent. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that other co-accused has been granted regular bail by this Court vide order dated 09.09.2025 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 64785 of 2025.

5. Learned APP for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of bail to the petitioner.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and taking into account the period of custody undergone by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

7. Let the petitioner be released on bail after examination of the informant on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Court below/concerned Court in connection with Nadi P.S. Case No. 08 of 2024.

8. The District Magistrate, West Champaran and the Superintendent of Police, West Champaran are also directed to take necessary steps to produce the witnesses on the date fixed in the Trial Court so that the trial could be concluded within the stipulated period.

9. Let this order be communicated to the District Magistrate, West Champaran and the Superintendent of Police, West Champaran.
