Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the respondents.

Petitioner has prayed for the following relief: "For issuance of a writ of mandamus and or other appropriate writ/order/direction for commanding and directing the respondent authorities to grant the scholarship of all students residing under the State of Bihar who would qualilfy the Preliminary Test of the B.P.S.C. or U.P.S.C. under the Social Welfare

Patna High Court CWJC No.12168 of 2018(2) dt.06-01-2020 2/2 Scheme of the State Government, while the State Government has already decided to provide the scholarship to those students who belong to the SC/ST and M.B.C. Categories vide his cabinet decision."

Learned counsel for the State states that the grievance of the petitioner stands redressed.

As such, we dispose of the present petition reserving liberty to the petitioner or the aggrieved parties, to take appropriate action in accordance with law with regard to their surviving grievances, if any.

We are hopeful that as and when petitioner takes recourse to such remedies, as are otherwise available in law, before the appropriate forum, the same shall be dealt with, in accordance with law and with reasonable dispatch.
