1. The writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant loan for the purpose of goat farming under a scheme of the Finance Department, Government of Bihar, intended for the self-employment of residents but the petitioner's application has been kept pending before the authority for the last four years. The writ petition was filed in the year 2018.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner reported that the petitioner/ Mr. Madan Kumar Gupta, has passed away and that he intends to file

3. However, the relief sought in the writ petition was for grant of a loan in the name of the sole petitioner, Mr. Madan Kumar Gupta. Upon his demise, the cause of action for grant of loan in his name does not survive. Therefore, the writ petition is dismissed

4. The legal heirs of the petitioner, if they are entitled, may submit an application before the appropriate authority.
