The petitioner is accused in connection with Kawakole (Rupau) P.S. Case No. 16 of 2019, registered under Section 384/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
The accusation is that some unknown came at the shop of informant, Birendra Prasad Gupta, and handed over a letter detailing the demand of ransom of Rs. 50,00,000/-. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is not named in the FIR but in course of investigation, one Makeshwar Pandey, was apprehended who confessed his guilt, saying the involvement of the petitioner in the present case. Thereafter, petitioner was remanded in present case from
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.78156 of 2019(2) dt.05-12-2019 2/2 Kawakole P.S. Case No. 40 of 2019, as detailed in paragraph 3 of the petition. Mr. Deepak Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted at bar that while petitioner is accused in three other cases as detailed in paragraph 3 of the petition, but in all thee cases, he is on bail and in the present case, he is in custody since 22.07.2019.
Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the A.C.J.M.-I, Nawada, in connection with Kawakole (Rupau) P.S.
