Seen the explanation submitted by the Superintendent of Police, Jehanabad which happens to be unsatisfactory. However, accepted.

The informant while was being moving over the vehicle bearing registration No. BR-25-8816, he found the vehicle going in wrong direction, whereupon objected. The driver took out pistol and directed him to keep silence while remaining three snatched away mobile, ATM, cash Rs.1000/-. They have also forced him to disclose the PIN number of the ATM. It is evident that the name of the petitioner cropped up on the basis of inculpatory extra judicial confessional statement of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.75760 of 2019(5) dt.20-07-2020 2/2 a co-accused and on the basis thereof, he is in custody since 21.8.2019 having no criminal antecedent.

In the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner Anuj Paswan @ Karu is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jehanabad in Jehanabad P.S.Case No. 960/2018.
