In this case, the petitioner is seeking bail in connection with Excise Case No.370 of 2019, arising out of Korma P.S. Case No.76 of 2019 registered for offence punishable under section 30 (a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It has been alleged that 20 litres of liquor has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner and he is in custody since 25.10.2019.

Looking to the facts and circumstances of the case, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is allowed and he is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.79009 of 2019(2) dt.04-12-2019 2/2 of 2nd Additional District and Sessions Judge, Sheikhpura in Excise Case No.370 of 2019, arising out of Korma P.S. Case No.76 of 2019, subject to the condition that one of the bailors of the petitioner shall be a local person having sufficient immovable property within the jurisdiction of the concerned Court. The petitioner will not induce any witness or tamper with the evidence. The petitioner shall cooperate in the disposal of trial and make himself available as and when required by the court. If the petitioner is found involved in similar type of offence in future, the relief granted to the petitioner in the present case will be treated to have been withdrawn.
