The instant application for regular bail has been filed by the petitioner in connection with Bhawanipur P.S. Case No. 236 of 2021 instituted for the offence punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 447, 302, 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

Earlier the application for regular bail of the petitioner was rejected by order dated 04.04.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 63064 of 2022.

In pursuance to the direction of this Court, a report, dated 12.01.2024, with regard to present stage of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.85445 of 2023(3) dt.09-02-2024 2/2 trial has been received and the same is kept at flag 'R'. From its perusal it appears that none of the witnesses have been examined till date.

No fresh ground is made for reconsideration of the regular bail of the petitioner. Accordingly, prayer for grant of regular bail is rejected.

Accordingly, petition stands disposed off.

However, learned trial court is directed to conclude the trial within 9 months., failing which, the petitioner will be at liberty to renew his prayer of bail.
