2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in a case registered for the offence under Sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.
3. As per the prosecution case, one Rajendra Yadav and Chhotelal Yadav are said to have killed the deceased.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the name of the petitioner has surfaced during investigation and he is not involved in the crime. He is in custody since 20.07.2023.
5. Learned counsel for the informant has opposed the prayer for bail and has submitted that during investigation it
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.3153 of 2024(2) dt.31-01-2024 2/2 has come that the petitioner is a contract killer and he was also firing upon the deceased from the motorcycle. He further submits that the petitioner is accused in three more cases of serious nature.
6. Considering the fact that petitioner is a contract killer, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. This application for regular bail is dismissed.
7. The Court below is directed to expedite the trial of the petitioner/s.
8. If the trial is delayed on account of the prosecution, the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail. (Sandeep Kumar, J) Shishir/- U T
