The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Excise Case No. 1098 of 2019 arising out of Jehanabad (Karauna) P.S. Case No. 794 of 2019 registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018. The accusation is that in course of patrolling duty one person was apprehended on suspicion and on search he was found in possession of ten bottles of 375 ml of Indian made foreign liquor, who disclosed his name Rakesh Kumar and he also disclosed that the liquor is being kept at the poultry farm of Rahul Kumar and this petitioner, thereafter, poultry farm of Rahul Kumar was searched from where several bottles of Indian made foreign liquor in volume of 650 liters Indian made foreign liquor recovered where the petitioner was also apprehended.
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.75174 of 2019(3) dt.19-03-2020 2/2 Submission is that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 06.10.2019. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, above named be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Excise Case No. 1098 of 2019 arising out of Jehanabad (Karauna) P.S. Case No. 794 of 2019 to the satisfaction of the Additional District Judge, II, Jehanabad.
