2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Baikunthpur P.S Case No. 306/2022 dated 03.10.2022 registered for the offences punishable u/ss 406, 420, 467, 468 and 471 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner has taken Rs. 5 lacs from the younger brother of the informant on the pretext of job and Rs. 1.5 lacs from his sister along with the certificate of matriculation and got issued a forged joining letter of post office. When it was inquired at Delhi, then the said letter was found forged. Thereafter, when they demanded their money, the petitioner did not return the whole amount.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. Learned counsel has submitted that there is no any specific date and time given by the informant to give money to the petitioner. The other co-accused person has already been granted anticipatory bail by this Court vide order dated 31.01.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 85480 of 2023. The petitioner has one criminal antecedent on which he is on bail as stated in para 3 of the bail petition. The petitioner is in custody since 28.04.2023.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the bail petition of the petitioner.
6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as the period of custody, the petitioner abovenamed, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court concerned, Gopalganj in connection with Baikunthpur P.S Case No. 306/2022.
7. The application stands allowed.
