The present petition has been filed for grant of regular bail on behalf of the petitioners in connection with Madhepur P.S. Case No. 152 of 2019 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018. The allegation is regarding recovery of 60.765 litres of illicit liquor from the hey house of the co-accused namely, Bholi Devi and the petitioners are stated to have been apprehended when they were fleeing away along with some sacks containing illicit liquor.

It is further submitted that the petitioners are languishing in custody since 03.10.2019. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the present case, this Court deems it fit and proper to grant regular bail to the petitioners, above named, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II-cum-Special Judge, Excise Act, Madhubani in connection with Madhepur P.S.
