It is stated that instead of permitting release of vehicle on bank guarantee, petitioner be permitted to furnish any other security. It has been consistent view of this Court in thousands of cases that where commercial quantity of liquor is seized, the vehicle is released only on bank guarantee and consistently in all such cases, this Court has been issuing such order. We see no reason to make any deviation in the present
Patna High Court MJC No.2029 of 2018(2) dt.06-07-2018 2/2 case when the quantity of liquor seized is more than 200 liters. Accordingly, finding no case for modification, the application stands dismissed.
