The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Andharamath P.S. Case No. 97 of 2017, corresponding to G.R. No.1478 of 2017 registered under Sections 341, 323, 324, 307, 498A, 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Regard being had to the allegation that the petitioner not only subjected his wife to cruelty for non-fulfillment of demand of dowry but also inflicted sharp cut injury with knife

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.75376 of 2019(6) dt.17-06-2020 2/2 on her neck, I am not inclined to grant him pre-arrest bail. The application is rejected.

In case the petitioner surrenders and seeks bail, the same shall be considered on its own merit without being prejudiced in any manner by this order.
