2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Rauta P.S. Case No. 15 of 2015 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 302 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is an accused in a case of murder.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. Learned counsel further submits that the petitioner is in jail since 14.09.2023 and co-accused has been acquitted.

5. The petitioner is an absconder as the case is of 2015 and an absconder cannot be given the privilege of bail.

6. Accordingly, this application stands dismissed.

7. The trial Court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same at the earliest.
