The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Gopalpur P.S. Case No. 142/2017 (Special Case No. 5143 of 2017) registered for the offence punishable under Sections 341/323/504/506/354(b)/34 of the IPC and Section 37(C) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that only because the petitioner is suspected to have been drunk, he is apprehending his arrest. It is further submitted that his name has come due to local village politics and the petitioner has nothing to do with any such offence as has been alleged. Considering the aforementioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioner above named be released on
