2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 584C of 2022, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 494, 498A of the IPC and Section 3⁄4 of the D.P. Act.

3. According to the complaint petition, marriage of the complainant was solemnized with the petitioner on 11.07.2016 and customary presents were given on the occasion of the marriage. As per allegation, the petitioner and other family members inflicted atrocities on the complainant for non-fulfillment of dowry demand of Rs. 10,00,000/-.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. He further submits that the petitioner is an unemployed person and the informant is in government job and this is the reason, she is not ready to reside with the petitioner. The matter was referred to the mediation centre but the matter could not be resolved. The petitioner is a person of clean antecedent.

5. Learned counsel for the complainant submits that the complainant/informant is ready for one time settlement but the amount she is demanding is not agreeable to the petitioner.

Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances and the clean antecedent of the petitioner, let the petitioner, in the event of his arrest or surrender within four weeks before the learned court below, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Khagaria in connection with Complaint Case No. 584C of 2022, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the CrPC/482(2) of the BNSS, 2023.
