JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 20-09-2019 The present application has been filed for initiation of a proceeding of contempt for willful and deliberate violation of the order dated 23.03.2018 passed in C.W.J.C. No. 2322 of 2018, whereby the District Magistrate, East Champaran was directed to dispose of the application of the petitioner submitted for grant of licence of rifle within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of the order. Patna High Court MJC No.2152 of 2018(3) dt.20-09-2019 2/2 12.06.2018 passed in Misc. Case No. 54 of 2018 has rejected the application of the petitioner, as contained in Annexure-A to show cause filed on behalf of opposite party no. 2. In the circumstances, this Court finds no reason to further proceed in the matter. However, if the petitioner is aggrieved with the order passed by the District Magistrate, East Champaran, he is at liberty, if so advised, to file appeal before appropriate forum.
