JUSTICE SANDEEP KUMAR ORAL ORDER 12-01-2024 This is the second attempt of petitioner for grant of regular bail as earlier the application of the petitioner has been rejected vide order dated 25.05.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 29093 of 2023.
2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.
3. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Andhramath P.S. Case No. 73 of 2022 registered for the offence under Section 373, 354© and 506 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 4 and 6 of the POCSO Act.
4. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner being a married person has established physical relation with the informant's daughter and he used to blackmail her by saying that he will make public all the intimate photos on social media

5. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case and he is in custody since 15.02.2023.
6. Learned APP for the State has vehemently opposed the application of the petitioner for grant of bail by contending that the trial has already begun and in the trial, witnesses including the informant and the victim have already been examined.
7. Considering the aforesaid facts, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
8. Accordingly, this application for grant of regular bail to the petitioner is dismissed.
9. The trial Court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same at the earliest, preferably within six months from the date of receipt/communication of a copy of this order. (Sandeep Kumar, J) Vikas/- U T
