JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 19-06-2020 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State and learned counsel for the informant via video conferencing and perused the counter-affidavit.
The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Mahila P. S. Case No. 56 of 2019 registered under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
Considering the nature of allegation, plea made in the application as well as in the counter-affidavit, submissions advanced at the Bar and the extra ordinary situation arisen due
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.76564 of 2019(4) dt.19-06-2020 2/2 to Covid-19 pandemic, the petitioner named above is directed to be released on bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the court below, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Samastipur in Mahila PS Case No.56 of 2019, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
