2. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences under Sections 302 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, the informant alleged that on 02.06.2024, at about 04:00 P.M., after the Panchayati, the petitioner came and fired at the wife of the informant, due to which she died.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case merely on suspicion. The petitioner is in custody since 04.06.2024.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposed the bail petition and submitted that the petitioner is the main assailant of the deceased.

6. Considering the nature and gravity of the offence, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, and the same is accordingly rejected.

7. However, since the petitioner is in custody since 04.06.2024, the Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) Neha/- U T
