JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL ORDER 19-12-2022 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Iqbal Asif Niazi, learned AC to GP-5 for the State. Petitioner in the present case is seeking for direction to the respondent authorities particularly the District Magistrate, Khagaria (Respondent No. 5) and the Superintendent of Police, Khagaria (Respondent No. 6) to give protection to his life and property.

In the nature of the reliefs prayed in this writ

Patna High Court CR. WJC No.2043 of 2018(3) dt.19-12-2022 2/2 application, this Court grants liberty to the petitioner to submit a detail representation supported by adequate materials before the Superintendent of Police, Khagaria (Respondent No. 6) showing his threat perception. If any such representation is submitted by this petitioner, respondent no. 6 shall consider the same and in case, it is found that the threat perception of the petitioner is genuine, the same will be considered and appropriate recommendation thereon shall be made to the District Level Security Committee.

The District Level Security Committee shall take an appropriate decision thereon within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of the recommendations, if any. This application stands disposed of accordingly. (Rajeev Ranjan Prasad, J) lekhi/- U T
