JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 26-03-2021 This writ application has been filed way back on 16.08.2018 after serving two advance copies to the respondents. Yet the respondents have not filed any counter affidavit.

The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ application is that the last pay certificate issued by the Block Development Officer, Bairgania is incorrect and requires rectification/correction.

Patna High Court CWJC No.16392 of 2018(3) dt.26-03-2021 2/3 28.07.2016 was assailed by the petitioner in the present writ application as incorrect and issued without verification of the original record. We are in the year 2021.

In the aforesaid circumstance, instead of keeping the matter pending, the Block Development Officer, Bairgania, Sitamarhi (respondent No. 2) is directed to provide opportunity of hearing to the petitioner within a period of one month from today and after hearing the petitioner and providing all reasonable opportunity, the respondent No. 2 shall pass appropriate order with regard to the claim of the petitioner for correction of entries in the last pay certificate dated 28.07.2016. In the event the respondent No. 2 admits mistakes, corrective measures must be taken within a maximum period of four months from today and consequential benefits must be extended to the petitioner within a further period of three months thereafter.
